Frequently asked questions
We follow the globally recognized Canadian educational model. Our curriculum includes continuous and comprehensive evaluation, focusing on a child's development through various activities without standardized exams like SEA or CXC. We also ensure personalized attention with small class sizes to support each student's learning journey.
An aide might be necessary if a child:
Needs frequent reminders or help staying focused and on task
Has difficulty following routines or understanding classroom instructions
Struggles with transitions, changes, or regulating emotions
Requires support to communicate effectively (e.g., is non-verbal or uses an AAC device)
Has medical or physical needs that require supervision or assistance
Becomes easily overwhelmed in group settings or noisy environments
Needs one-on-one help to complete classwork or participate in group activities
Displays behavior that could pose a risk to themselves or others without close supervision
The goal of an aide is to help the child build independence, confidence, and success in the classroom while making sure they’re safe, included, and learning at their own pace.
